Deosai plains is located between Astore and Skardu in Gilgit Baltistan. It is also known as the land of the giants, it is considered as second highest plateaus in the world with an average elevation of (13,500 ft) above sea level. The killer mountain Nanga Parbat could also be seen from Deosai national park.
It is a must-see for every tourist, its idea for family, friends, and couples. The best time to visit to see the greenery is from July to September. It is an ideal place for camping, alongside streams, mountains, and green grass. Famous Sheosar lake is also located in the Deosai plains, which is included in this tour.
We provide two options for the Deosai tour to Deosai National Park. The first one is by road and the other is by air to Skardu Airport directly from Islamabad. Below is the itinerary for a road trip. Leave an inquiry for a trip by air.
Deosai is an ideal place for camping, you will have the best view from the camp with green grass and mountains right in front of you. You can expect the following from Deosai Tour:
We’ll pick you up according to the decided point in Islamabad, then we will straight away leave for Deosai. We will be taking short breaks from time to time at good spots to capture the beauty of nature.
Enjoy the stay and lush green Naran & Kaghan Vally. You can roam around and do the shopping at the Naran Bazar. Moreover, if you want to hike and enjoy the best view of the valley, its also possible.
However, it is open only in summer, so if your tour is in summer (April-Oct) then we’ll use Naran route if we’re traveling via car. Otherwise, we’ll be using the Besham route with KKH (Karakoram Highway).
Babusar Top is a marvelous tourist attraction point, with 4,170m height above sea level. However, it is open only in summer, so if your tour is in summer (April-Oct) then we’ll use the Babusar route if we’re traveling via car.
By this time is would be night, so we’ll be having dinner and stay at one of our hotels at Astore, Gilgit.
After breakfast, we’ll be leaving for the Deosai via 4×4.
We will be returning back to Astore for an overnight stay.
Next day after the breakfast, we will be returning back to Naran for overnight stay.
Next day, after the breakfast, we will continue the drive to Islamabad.
