Kharkhari Lake

Kharkhari Lake is an alpine glacial lake located in the Gabral Valley. The lake is about 400 m long and 250 m wide. The lake is also known as Kharkhari Danda in Pashto.

Kalam Valley Tour Itinerary

Day 1Departure from Islamabad

Departure from Islamabad to Mingora in the afternoon. Refreshments/dinner and night stay at Fizat Gat Park, Mingora, Swat.

Day 2Arrival in Kalam

Wakeup call at 7:15am, breakfast at 7:45am, drive towards Behrain & Kalam with a lunch stop in Behrain. BBQ and dinner at Kalam and bonfire then night stay at Hotel.

Day 3Visit Mahodand Lake

 Wakeup call at 8am, breakfast at 8:30am, drive towards Mahodand lake, and enjoy the views of waterfalls and glaciers with lunch stop en route. Stay in Mahodand for 3-4hrs, return to Kalam at 8pm for dinner and night stay at Kalam.

Day 4Return to Islamabad

Wakeup call at 9am, breakfast at 9:30am, drive towards Madyan for lunch at Behrain, and visit to Trout Park. We will be arriving in Islamabad in the evening.
