Hunza Valley is one of the top tourist points in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. The Valley is a popular tourist destination for Pakistani and foreign tourists alike. The valley attracts visitors with its scenic beauty, lush green landscapes, and friendly people.

Hunza Valley Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Departure from Islamabad

We’ll pick you up according to the decided point in Islamabad a “Welcome to Pakistan” meeting. Then we’ll straight away leave for the Hunza Valley Trip. The road distance from Islamabad by car to Hunza is 580 KM, which takes around 12 hours.

 

Stay and Visit Naran & Kaghan

Enjoy the stay and lush green Naran & Kaghan Valley. You can roam around and do the shopping at the Naran Bazar. Moreover, if you want to hike and enjoy the best view of the valley, it’s also possible.

However, it is open only in summer, so if your tour is in summer (April-Oct) then we’ll use the Naran route if we’re traveling via car. Otherwise, we’ll be using the Besham route with KKH (Karakoram Highway).

Note: If the Hunza valley tour is in winter then we will not be visiting Naran and Kaghan, instead we will use an alternate route. As Naran, Kaghan, Babusar route becomes snow-covered in winter due to snowfall.

 

Day 2: Naran to Hunza (Visit Babusar Top)

The next day we will begin the journey early morning right after breakfast. Additionally, there are amazing places for photography like Bata Kundi, Lulusar Lake, Babusar top, etc. The road will through Lulusar Lake, we will take a short break at the lake. Then we can have a break for tea at the amazing Babusar Pass.

Babusar Top is a marvelous tourist attraction point, with 4,170m in height above sea level. However, it is open only in summer, so if your tour is in summer (April-Oct) then we’ll use the Babusar route if we’re traveling via car. Then we will continue our tour toward Hunza Valley.

Stay at Rakaposhi, Hunza Nagar Valley, Gilgit

We will also have a short break at the Nanga Parbat viewpoint. After that, we will continue our journey to Hunza. By the time we reach Hunza, it would be night, so we’ll be having dinner and stay at one of our hotels at Rakaposhi, Nagar Valley, Gilgit. The resort is located in the peaceful lush green valley with an amazing location and view of mountains.

Day 3: Visit Hunza Valley

  • After breakfast, we’ll be leaving to visit Baltit Fort in Karimabad, Hunza. You can roam around in Karimabad Bazar, do the shopping for traditional goods. After that with a little hike, you can visit the historical Baltit and Altit fort.
  • Visit Hussaini Bridge
  • After that according to our decided plan, we will be visiting the Passu cones. We also have a resort available in Passu with a peaceful location and an amazing view of Passu cones, so if you wish to stay there, we can also manage it.
  • After visiting Pass cones, we will continue our journey to Khunjerab Pass, or according to our plan. We will also take a short stop at Sost border. It is the last town of Upper Hunza and Pakistan.
  • When we’re done visiting Khunjerab Pass, we will get back to our resort for a stay. Moreover, you can decide the places & hotels in Hunza valley for your next stay.

Day 4:Stay at Passu Cones

Next day after breakfast we can make a stay at a resort near Passu Cones with amazing view.

Day 5Stay at Naltar

After breakfast, we can start travel to Naltar valley. We will be staying at a resort in Naltar valley as well.

Day 6: Return to Naran

The next day, after breakfast, we will be getting back to Naran for an overnight stay. It would be evening by the time we arrive in Naran. So, we can roam around in Naran Bazar and shop as well. Evening and nighttime in Naran are a bit chilly.

Day 7: Return to Islamabad

The next day, after breakfast, we will be getting back to Islamabad from Naran.
